Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. People do Qigong to maintain health, heal their bodies, calm their minds, and reconnect with their spirit.

Lace Making

Every Tuesday 19.00-21.00 in the Meeting Room

Lace-making is an ancient craft. True lace was not made until the late 15th and early 16th centuries. A true lace is created when a thread is looped, twisted or braided to other threads independently from a backing fabric.  Come and have a try and see some llovely examples from some of the ladies and listen to Judy explain and show how you too could make lace.

Every Wednesday 19.30 - 20.45 in the Main Hall

MyTimeYoga concentrates on the physical postures of yoga with special attention to anatomical alignment with the use of props and modifications. It is suitable for all levels and is designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. The lessons include some relaxation techniques at the end.

Patchwork Class

First Thursday of the Month 10:00 - 15:30              in the Main Hall

Come and learn a variety of patchwork techniques or simply join in to complete your current project with friends.

Local History Group

Third Thursday of the Month 19:30 - 21:00  Meeting Room

TNo previous experience is required, just a keen interest iin local history. 

The group publishes regularly, some finding their latest booklet on the names shown on Hunton Memorial is available through the group.

Gardening Club

Fourth Thursday of the Month 19:30 - 21:30         in the Main Hall

The Gardening Club welcomes regular speakers and also host an annual open garden day which offers a rare opportunity to explore the secrets of hidden and private gardens of Hunton not usually open to the public. An opportunity to discover the fruit of the members labour of love, to purchase some plants, and get some tips as well as enjoy some refreshments together with wonderful home bakes.

Hunton Parent & Toddler Group

Every Friday 09:30 - 11:00 (term-time)                          in the Main Hall

Friendly and informal group, great selection of toys, books and craft activities.  Baby toys are available too, so do come along and meet some friendly faces.


£2 per family, Snack & drink provided.

Indoor Bowls

Friday 14.00-16.00 in the Main Hall

Hunton Bowls Team play in the Richmond Indoor Bowls League.

We meet each Friday 2pm to 4pm in the Village Hall. Come along and have a go.

Dance School

Every Saturday 09.00-15.30 in the Main Hall

The successful and popular Applegarth Academy of Dance run by Ann Haining. 


Ann runs classes from beginners to more confirmed dancers.
Classes include: Modern Sequence, Latin American, Rock 'n' Roll, Classical Sequence, Freestyle Dance, Rock 'n' Roll (Ballroom), Ballroom.
